AI video prompt: two photos dancing side by side
Try this prompt for a trending video style. This page describes the shot step by step and offers troubleshooting tips; no sample video is available yet.
Since late September 2026 the copy everyone is making takes two portraits — a couple, two friends, two versions of the same person — and drops both of them into the 1984 Bronski Beat single it is named after: the same stage, the same side-by-side arm work, the same dramatic push into two surprised faces. The tools that sell it do the whole thing from the two photos with no prompt, which is why it spread so fast.
We do not have that tool, and we are not going to pretend our model copies a performance. What we can do is the same two-photo setup with a prompt: the people in your first and second photo, one neon stage, and five seconds that hold the one thing the 14-second original is remembered for — the pair turning and hitting the same move together.
How the video should unfold
- Both subjects stand shoulder to shoulder, lit from behind in magenta and cyan, and turn to look at each other.
- On the same beat they swing the outside arms up and push their palms toward the lens, mouths open as if singing the same line.
- The camera pushes in and lands on both faces together, coloured light flaring across the glass.
The full prompt
The two people in the first photo and in the second photo stand shoulder to shoulder on a dark stage washed in magenta and cyan neon, a mirror ball turning above them, framed vertically from the waist up. Each keeps their own face, hair and clothes, and they stay two separate people at the same height. They turn to look at each other, then swing their outside arms up on the same beat and push both palms toward the lens, heads tipping back with their mouths open as if singing the same line. The camera pushes in slowly and holds both faces in frame at the end. Shallow depth of field, coloured light flaring across the lens, faces clearly lit while the colour stays in the background. Keep both faces, hairstyles and outfits unchanged and the pair evenly spaced in frame. No added text, logos, backing dancers or crowd.

What to upload
Two front-facing photos, head and shoulders, the subject roughly the same size and at the same height in each, evenly lit and not cropped at the eyes. Different backgrounds are fine — the stage is generated — but two very different light temperatures will show.
How to fix common issues
- If the two faces melt into one, say “two separate people, each keeps their own face” and upload two photos with the same head height; a close crop of one and a wide shot of the other has nothing to stand on.
- If only one of them moves, the prompt has drifted to a portrait — name the pair again (“both”, “in the same beat”) and keep both bodies in frame from the waist up at least.
- If the neon burns out the faces, drop “rim light” and ask for “faces clearly lit, colour in the background only”; an over-lit frame loses the two expressions that make the format work.
About this page
This page describes a format rather than a clip we filmed, so there is no sample video, and the prompt is our own writing rather than a verified prompt from the account that made the effect popular. SnapToClip makes five-second clips: one credit for silence, two with sound. The studio picks the model from how many photos you add and whether you ask for sound — one photo silent on Wan 2.2, one photo with sound on Kling 2.6, two on Seedance 1.5 Pro, three or four on Vidu Q4. Review each result before you post it, and only upload photos you have the right to use.
