Web dynamic photo or Apple Live Photo pair?
Press-to-play web photo
Download the HTML and open it in a browser. Press and hold to play; release to return to your cover. The video is included, so it works offline. This is a file you can open or host, rather than a public sharing link. Social apps may not accept HTML uploads.
Apple Live Photo pair
- Download and unzip the package.
- Keep the JPG and MOV files together with their matching names.
- On a Mac, import both files together into Photos and verify that they appear as one Live Photo. Use iCloud Photos if you want to sync it to your iPhone.
Downloading two files in Safari does not automatically combine them into a Live Photo on an iPhone. No automatic wallpaper compatibility is promised.
Start with a still picture or make a GIF instead
This converter starts with a video. To add preset motion to an existing picture first, use free photo animation. That studio requires sign-in and a safety review; its free export format depends on the browser. Use a compatible H.264 or HEVC MP4 for this converter.
Want new motion in a portrait, pet or product scene? Compare AI video templates. AI generation is a separate paid-credit service. For a looping file that plays without holding, convert your video to a GIF, then remove a flat-color GIF background if needed.
Live Photo maker questions
Is this Live Photo maker free?
Yes. Both the web dynamic photo and matching Apple photo/video pair exports are free. No account, credits or app installation is required. Your file is processed locally in this browser.
Can I convert a video to a Live Photo?
You can export a matching JPG and MOV pair from a short H.264 or HEVC MP4 or MOV video. The current limit is six seconds and 30 MB. The exported pair passes Apple’s Live Photo format check; device import compatibility remains in Beta.
How do I save the pair on an iPhone?
Download and unzip the pair, then import both matching files together into Photos on a Mac. Verify that they appear as one Live Photo before deleting your original. iCloud Photos can sync the result to an iPhone. Safari does not directly save the downloaded ZIP as a Live Photo in the iPhone Photos library.
What is a web dynamic photo?
It is a photo preview that plays its embedded video while you press and hold it. Release to return to the cover. Export the HTML file and open it in a browser; the included video and cover work offline. Social platforms may not accept HTML uploads.
Can I make a Live Photo from a still image?
This converter requires a video. To start from a still picture, create a short clip with the photo-animation tool first, then use a compatible MP4 here. Free animation may export WebM in some browsers, which this converter does not accept. A normal JPG alone contains no motion.
Will the result work as a Live Photo wallpaper?
Wallpaper behavior depends on your device and operating system and has not been verified for these exports. This tool does not promise wallpaper compatibility. Keep your source video until you have checked how the exported files work on your device.
