AI video prompt: make a car lift off the road

Try this prompt for a trending video style. This page describes the shot step by step and offers troubleshooting tips; no sample video is available yet.

In October 2026, posts about a second-generation Roadster with cold-gas thrusters pushed “flying roadster” to the top of trend charts, and the clip everyone copies runs on the same three beats: steam under the sills, the wheels leaving the ground, the car getting small against the sky.

It works on any car, which is why the format spread past the one model that started it. Upload a side or three-quarter photo of a parked car and the prompt below does the lift, the hover and the climb inside five seconds.

How the video should unfold

  1. Steam and heat haze start under the car before anything moves.
  2. The body leaves the ground slowly — a hover, not a jump — and the wheels keep turning.
  3. The camera tilts up and holds until the car is a shape against the sky.

The full prompt

The parked car in the reference photo sits on wet asphalt at dusk, seen from a low three-quarter front view. Clean white steam bursts from under the sills and the wheel arches, heat haze bending the light behind the tyres, dust lifting off the road. The body rises straight up, wheels still turning, until it hangs a metre above the asphalt, tilts back slightly and climbs toward low cloud. Body shape, paint colour and trim stay unchanged throughout. The camera tilts up and follows the climb, cold blue dusk grade, warm streetlights reflecting along the roof line. No added text, badges, people or fire.

What to upload

A parked car, photographed from the side or three-quarter front, whole body in frame and evenly lit. Reflections on the paint are fine; a moving background is not.

How to fix common issues

  • If the bodywork warps, add “body shape, paint and trim unchanged” and upload a side view instead of a tight front crop.
  • If the car slides sideways like a drone, say “vertical lift, no forward travel” and keep the camera move to a tilt.
  • If the steam reads as an explosion, use “clean white steam, no fire” — fire turns the shot into a crash.

About this page

This page describes a format rather than a clip we filmed, so there is no sample video, and the prompt is our own writing rather than a verified prompt from the account that made the effect popular. SnapToClip makes five-second clips: one credit for silence, two with sound. The studio picks the model from how many photos you add and whether you ask for sound — one photo silent on Wan 2.2, one photo with sound on Kling 2.6, two on Seedance 1.5 Pro, three or four on Vidu Q4. Review each result before you post it, and only upload photos you have the right to use.
